Overview

The SE237 is a stand-alone industrial gas detector housed in an IP65 ABS V0 enclosure designed by Giugiaro Design. It works autonomously thanks to three on-board relay outputs and LED status indicators, and can also feed a control unit. Its standout feature is the plug-in replaceable sensor cartridge with a quick-release connector, which allows non-intrusive one-man maintenance and sensor replacement on site.

Calibration is performed easily using the built-in keypad with two keys, F1 and F2, for zero adjustment, and the detector automatically compensates for zero drift over its working life. A standard protection cap shields the sensor from changes in environmental conditions, while an optional gassing cap allows gas-response checking during commissioning and routine maintenance. The SE237 covers a very wide range of gases via electrochemical, catalytic, pellistor and semiconductor sensors (toxic gases, oxygen, flammable gases and refrigerants).
