Remote refrigerant sensing head used with the GDR453 (and GDR403) detectors, mounted up to 3 m from the main unit via a replaceable cartridge.
The Remote Sensor (Sensore Remoto) is the detached sensing head used with the remote-sensor refrigerant detectors GDR453 and GDR403. It carries the replaceable sensor cartridge in its own compact IP67 housing and connects back to the main detector electronics over a cable of up to 3 metres, allowing the sensing point to be located exactly where a refrigerant leak is most likely to collect while keeping the display, outputs and alarms in an accessible position.
The head accepts the same electrochemical, pellistor and infrared cartridges as the main detectors, so it can be configured for NH3, R290, R600, CO2 and the main HFC/HFO refrigerants. It is supplied as an accessory/companion to the GDR453 and GDR403 detectors.
Paired with GDR453/GDR403 to sense refrigerant where the main detector cannot be conveniently mounted.
