Overview

The GDR453 is the remote-sensor version of the professional GDR450. The electronics, colour display, outputs and alarms stay in an accessible location while the sensing cartridge is mounted remotely, up to 3 metres away, so the sensor can be placed exactly where refrigerant is most likely to accumulate (for example near the floor or above the plant) without exposing the rest of the instrument.

Connectivity matches the rest of the professional range: 4–20 mA, analog 1–5 V / 2–10 V, Modbus RS485 and 3 relays (2 alarm + 1 fault), with an 80 dB buzzer and Bluetooth for measurement, calibration, threshold/relay and Modbus configuration. It uses a replaceable sensor cartridge with electrochemical, pellistor and infrared options and covers NH3, R290, R600, CO2 and the main HFC/HFO refrigerants.
